Liverpool appoint former Tottenham director of football Damien Comolli as their director of football strategy.

I think he's a bit of a liability draining the transfer budget and payroll. Still who am I to worry Liverpool like Man U are awash with $$$'s

Not quiet correct ..........................we tapped up Frank Arnesen - Sporting Director in 2005 from Totnum who relaced him with the ill fated Comolli.
The youth policy is paying off and this season Patrick van Aanholt, Gael Kakuta (tapped up as a 15 year old) Josh McEachran,Jeffrey Bruma,Fabio Borini are not only in the first team squad but have made a number of appearances. Until he was released in 2006 having signed as a 10 year old we had Philippine International James Younghusband.
Can they still afford a youth set up at Sold Trafford or have the scant resources been blown on greedy Mr Potato Head :icon_lol:
