Hello I am now married to my fiancee now, and want her to come to the UK, when I have gone on the VFS website, it mentions biometrics, what exactly is this and does it apply to my wife coming over to the UK? Where do you go for this etc.

Hi Deano, anyone applying for a UK Visa must attend an appointment at VFS where they will submit the documents and have their 'biometrics' taken.
It's essentially a way of linking the visa to your the owner/applicant through individual identification such as fingerprints.
