I hate surprises!!!!:icon_lol::icon_lol:..I definitely tell my husband what i want ,and husband do the same..if we can afford it we will get it straight away and could be classed as a Christmas presents in advance :xxgrinning--00xx3:...so ,everyday can be Christmas for us :holiday08:
anyway,we love to give presents and surprises for the kids during Christmas,I guess its made for them:Jump:

Yes ... it's always nice to receive a surprise gift - more exciting, than being asked what one would like, really - but sometimes our partners/families/friends can be a wee bit "off the mark" ... despite their best intentions. In which case, it's often useful to hand over the receipt too [perhaps in a sealed envelope] so the item can be exchanged for another of the person's choice (or size if it's an article of clothing). Alternatively, the "unwanted" gift can be tucked away for giving to someone else later. Either way, it needn't be wasted ... and is usually always appreciated ... unless it's socks or hankies ... again!!! :D

same with me mari girl..i always think that Christmas is for the kids so the surprises are for them..i'd rather ask or be asked for a gift that he or i would definitely like..even exchange gifts in the office have the so-called wish lists.

yes rayna girl!! the surprising looked on the kids eyes is truly unremarkable and so precious....Anyway,i like the idea of 'wish list' for presents ,it can save time in purchasing especially on this busy holidays:xxgrinning--00xx3:

Don't know about others ... but I invariably find it far more difficult wondering what to buy for my nearest and dearest than for anyone else. :23_111_9[1]:
