The PM has said that Friday 29th April will be a national holiday, excellent:xxgrinning--00xx3: I get back from the Phil's on Monday 25th so it means a nice short week for me.
There's also a wedding taking place that day too, but I've not been invited yet.

Sod the royal wedding. Always wondered the 23rd april (St georges day) isn't a public holiday in the uk. More importantly its my birthday which I'd have thought was reason enough!

That's a good point, the Irish have always celebrated 17th March in a very big way, but if you wave a St George's cross on April 23rd you're called a racist here:doh
...oh and advanced happy Birthday:icon_lol:

Thank you very much both of you, now as for presents...........
It's always got to me to have a birthday on the only saints day that isn't celabrated in the uk!!! Mind you it doesn't help when groups like bnp, nf etc adopt the georges cross. Kind of sends the wrong message out really.
Wish we where more like the irish, without the massive crippling debt of course!!!
