Congratulations, I'm really pleased for you that you've finally got it. Hope to see you soon:)

January is usually one of the coldest months of the year, but I don't think it can be as bad as Dec has been so far.

cold in Jan, jan this yr we had 1ft of snow :icon_lol:

great news purple :xxgrinning--00xx3:
28 day wait :NoNo: and some people were getting theirs in a couple of days,
just shows you just because you wait a month doesn't mean you will not get your visa

that's true Joe... it can be nerve wracking too knowing that other's get their visas after 2 or 3 days.
specially we did not include that much originals and copies were not even certified by a solicitor.. so their possible grounds of refusal for technicalities...
but anyway, I am happy that is finally here and wait is over with a good news.
Again, thanks all! I am truly happy.:Jump::Jump::Jump:

Yes I am so excited. Hubby will fly out next week for Christmas holidays for 4 weeks. It was a last minute flight he booked because we thought that we would not hear about the visa at all or maybe possible refusals too.
We missed to check in VFS website about "how to apply for visa" and put the scanned documents only (not even able to have it certified) and the bank statements were more of over withdrawals but he did explain in the letter that he don't keep money in the savings but investments of which we showed scanned certifications.. that's why we were nervous and having doubts after reading on VFS website that original documents and its photocopies should be together when submitting as it could cause delays or refusals of the application.

Now its a relief. Phew!

:xxgrinning--00xx3: Congratulations, Rohany ... although it's only been four weeks since your application was lodged, :iagree: it did seem longer than that, somehow - especially when we kept reading of others apparently being processed more or less straightaway - but now you have your visa, we all share your :BouncyHappy: delight!

*January, traditionally, is known to be a cold month here in the UK. But if the weather pattern we've been experiencing in recent years continues, it shouldn't be any chillier *then than it is now. :NoNo: So, relax ... and enjoy this extra-SPECIAL festive season with your husband and family basking in warm Philippines' temperatures. :)
