It's that time of my life to re-arrange the forum so that it fits better with the flow of the forum, any input is appreciated with regard new catergories, rules, etc.

One new catergory already put about is: HEALTH - What do you think?

JUST FOR HER (Girl Power!!!)
where we can talk about hairstyle, fashion, shoes, shopping, decorating, health, bf's ,husbands, kids, kitchen, plants, and gifts we like to receive.

Health of course affects us all but I really need to point out that I don't claim a monopoly on health matters - many of you probably realise that anyway ! So I support the idea but also completely respect Win2Win's decision on this and also the views of other members. It could be that you feel there's enough information elsewhere on health.

how about a members only area, that is only visible to signed up members and not the lurking general public. There are lots of things I could post, but don't as I'm not too keen on the whole world knowing my business.

A cars section would be good :D

Rather than the travel tips heading, break it up into sub headings (health advice for travellers, flight tips, insurance advice, places to stay or visit, advice for other SE Asian countries, any other travel tips or advice)

Sport section should be split into 2 sub sections, one for football and another for all other sports

Sim11UK

How about a section for right wing views, as that seems very popular on here. ;) :D

Personally, I wouldn't like to see a section on cars, photography etc. there are plenty of other forums for that. If you want to talk about them in general chat, don't have a problem with that.

First & foremost, I'm here because of my association with the Philippines. I like reading about peoples experiences of living in the Philippines, like Tawi's & Graham's posts, so I would have thought 'Living in the Philippines' would be a contender for a new category?

Anyway, it's been nice knowing you all, I'm sure I'll be banned for my first comment?...& on my 2000th post as well. :D

Ako Si Jamie
10th December 2010, 21:14
I don't think there's much to add although everything related to the Philippines should be bunched together at the top and sections such as Humour, Rant, Sport, Loose Talk etc should be together too but down at the bottom.

Also the Introduce Yourself section should be directly below READ BEFORE POSTING.

So far we have Religion, Athiests,

Have we? Don't see any mention of either in this thread :NoNo: ... although I admit those two topics did cross my mind! Might even be an  to combine them ... to allow free reign to "The God Squad" [as some of us were called collectively] and Apo to battle it out ... or - in the latter's case - to argue with himself (sorry, Mike ... just my little :joke: ... no offence intended, mate!) What's the general concensus of opinion, I wonder?

Hi Arthur, I don't have to "battle it out" :D

I come to the forums here and search for advice when i need it. I would like to "give back" but the people on here have already done everything I`m currently trying to do. We very much appreciate your help. But don`t have much to add. You`ve been there, done that and got the family.
A 'members only/frequent posters' area would be good for the community here. But any advice/stories/information should be made public.
About all I can add to many topics here is salamat.

btw. Can anyone tell me the practical difference between left/right wing

All of your experiences are relevant to the forum, so please post them.
Many may have gone through the whole process, but the rules are constantly changing. We need fresh blood, think of the person just starting out? You being that bit further down the line, may have the advice they are looking for, all current & fresh.
There's plenty you can "give back." :)

btw. Can anyone tell me the practical difference between left/right wing

In simple terms, rightwing is about money/keeping the majority of people poor in wage salvery, left wing is about co-operation and a more equal distributon of wealth.

Before anybody says it is aboyut everybody being exactly the same, it is not, that is just a myth peddled by the right wing to smear left wing views.

Russia was not socialist it was state capitalist, ie right wing.

There must be so much good advice out there for any of us who are planning to live there one day.
This advice could be very useful for people planning to stay for some months.

:xxgrinning--00xx3: I think those living even for a few days can be helped/informed by a forum of that sort:)

Onlong those lines both the living in the UK and Phill but possibly for those who need to ask a question on the other country.

Many times I have read a Brit or a Phill ask a question which is the sort many locals can answer or find out easily that those miles away cant.

Ie to help those who need to check if they are being told porkies or to reassure themsleves all is well. Also for working out what sort of gift to give etc.
