Regulars of the blog know I have featured kinilaw na tanguigue (seviche of spanish mackerel) in previous posts, and at least 50-70 MM regulars have actually tasted our "best version" at both the Cebu eyeball 2 or 3 years ago and other meals. I posted the recipe with detailed instructions here (http://www.marketmanila.com/archives/kinilaw-a-la-victormarketman). that recipe has remained our house standard until a few days ago, when I decided to try and tinker with it, and created a variation that may have topped what was previously thought to be "the best"... :)

Never thought I could eat raw fish until I tried this some years ago.. Kinilaw Tuna and Barracuda are others I regularly use for polutan these days.. Luvvverly!!:xxgrinning--00xx3:

Kinilaw is so tasty, worth trying if you never have before...Don't be put off, by the thought of raw fish. :)

I just love Kinilaw Tuna, but never tried mackerel.
Need to seek out a supplier of sashimi grade mackerel and try this one out :xxgrinning--00xx3:

kinilaw!!!!!!!!!!!!! wow yummy!!! one of the best food i always love yummy from marlyn not my hubby, he would never dare taste it lol! he said yuck!lol!!
but its so yummy!!! its yuck until u tried and tasted it !!!:Jump::icon_lol:
