Who are the world's best known filipinos ( including those of filipino descent ) ? Here's my suggestions :-
1. MANNY PACQUIAO (Boxer)
2. IMELDA MARCOS( ex First Lady)
3. FERDINAND MARCOS ( ex President)
4. ALLAN PINEDA ( aka " apl.de.ap "- Black Eyed Peas singer)
5. NICOLE SCHERZINGER ( ex lead singer Pussy Cat Dolls, girlfriend of racing driver Lewis Hamilton)
6. JOSE RIZAL (national hero)
7. BENIGNO "NINOY" AQUINO (politician assassinated at Manila Airport 1983)
8. LAPU-LAPU (helped kill explorer Magellan in 1521)
9. CORAZON AQUINO (ex President)
10. BRUNO MARS ( rap singer)

Yes unforgettable name, it always made me think of smuggling stories I don't know why. He came up in a conversation I was having a few months ago about the role of the Church in overthrowing communism in the former East Germany.

Charice is the first solo Asian artist to reach the Top 10 of the Billboard album charts, and she has appeared in the TV series "Glee".
