All the same these type of companies. They'll only offer peanuts for something. My mate had a car which was valued at around £3500. He couldn't sell it by the normal means and was desperate to get rid. Sold it to this lot for £1000 plus I think he had to pay £50 for an administration charge.

Cash Converters are the worst and they don't have TV advertising costs.

A friend of mine is still using his V reg' petrol 1.8 for work and doing 500-700 miles a week in it.
I think it's done about 180,000 miles on the original mechanics now.

Great car. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

We chuckle though, because he has a solar panel set into the bonnet to power his satnav and phone.

Ok, we are an energy efficiency company, BUT. :icon_lol:

Highest mileage I've done was 350,000 in a Peugeot 205 diesel that I bought new back in 1989.
It was still going strong when sold. :)

One of the vans I sometimes use at work has done around 350k. It's a Fiat Punto Diesel and is only about six years old.
