Just spent a productive afternoon at the Cardiff office with the Mrs, applying for the FLR....and it was no problem!! Just make sure you have all the relevant documents, marriage certs, payslips, etc etc and its a formality....we just now have to wait to receive the Biometric Residence Permit in the next 7 days...
Thanks to all you guys and the posts on this subject....a mine of information!!
Cheers, we are celebrating with a Guiness...:icon_lol:

Hi...Mahal and myself are heading to get the FLR in the next month or so....could you just go through the documents you provided......also when you go to the office do you make payment there and then or do you have to make payment before?.....and finally when you make your appointment....do you just turn up with the app form and all the relevant docs and payment of course.....im just trying to get it all clear before applying......thx.

you've already done the hard work getting your fiancee visa, as long as your partner is working, he has some savings and don't send over drawn bank statements you shouldn't have any problems getting FLR .
have you passed the English language test ?
