... where? Confession: :icon_sorry: ... I've never heard of the former 'Gilbert Islands' :NoNo: - let alone their more recent collective name!

Without cheating and checking on Google Maps, I'd say they are somewhere in the South Pacific near New Zealand, but I've only heard of them because when I was in Australia, the daily newspapers also displayed the prices for different South Pacific islands like Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Tuvalu, Fiji and Tonga ...etc.
