life in uk test only carried out in the uk..
you've been married for 4yrs and lived outside the uk for 4yrs ? then when you come to the uk you can take the test and apply for ilr when you've passed..
but you better explain your circumstances, why your asking about flr, ilr , life in uk test and if you've lived togther outside the uk for 4yrs ?? so i can give you a better answer

hi joe, thank you for the information..
with regards to my case,i married a british man last nov.,2010.and we will have our baby soon.im 3 months pregnant now.my husband wants me to be together specially that we will have our baby soon.its very painful that we are not together.
with regards of spouse visa application for FLR, i dont know if we have the chance knowing that my husband doesn't have got full time job due to recession , disposable income and amount of savings needed/ required considering that we have our baby already.
so the other option we have now is instead of me going in UK, he will be the one to go here in Philippines to live here together with our baby..
I found out this thread , so if in case he will be going to live here in Philippines for 4 years, will it be enough to support as an evidence if in case we will be going to apply for ILR in the future?..but i dont know how the ILR application done in UK..
hope you can give me advice regarding on this matter..i appreciate your response..thank you

even if he lives in the phils with you for 4yrs he still would need to meet the same requirements as he would now if he was to apply for a spouse visa for you..
he needs to find a job, any job and get family and friends to loan him money until you get your visa,,
