A First World War postcard has finally been delivered - a staggering 94 years after it was sent.
Soldier Alfred Arthur, 19, sent the card to his sister Ellen, known as Nell, in January 1916 at the height of the Great War.

*Well at least it got delivered :icon_lol: .... did they charge the receiver extra for the postage as it's gone up a bit in 94 years :yikes:

This was the bit that made me laugh:-

It makes the 3 months it takes to get a postcard sent from the Phil's seem like a short time
