Is it true that if someone has a degree taught in English they are exempt from the English test?

Maria has a Bachelor's Degree in arts/sciences & industrial psychology so would she have to take it?

It needs to be verified that it is equivalent to UK degree.
Many Phils degree's are deemed only as diploma.

BTW NARIC only gives UK equivalents it does not confirm if the degree was taught in English. A letter of confirmation from the university would be sufficient though.

I would be very surprised if there any exceptions made in either the English test and the 'Life in the Uk' Surely it would open itself up to fraud. I could be wrong It has been known ;). The wife goes to take the latter test in a few weeks before the baby is born. She will enquire at the test centre whether she needs to take the English test as well before applying for her ILR in December.

Hello! If you'll be applying for ILR, you just need the LIfe in the UK test. English test are for Fiancee,spouse/FLR visa. Well, that's what I heard and read from the Home Office website. Correct me If I'm wrong. I hope the rules will not change though. I already took the Life in the UK test for my ILR application later this year...:xxgrinning--00xx3:
