Here's another good example of taxpayers money being well spent:rolleyes: The MOD were paying £22 for light bulbs that can be bought in a corner shop for 65p:NoNo:

Unbelievable :cwm23: one of our suppliers just told me about this.
In the next breath he went on about a Rolls Royce driving gypsy living in a £5million Wentworth house who is enraging people by trying to build 5 "travellers pitches" in Windsor. He must have done a lot of conning, thieving and driveways to afford his mansion.

Pack of 3 bayonet or screw in 20w/90-100w equivalent low energy bulbs is about £2.00 at my local Asda.

 ... mind you, I get the occasional pack of energy-saving lightbulbs - issued free of charge - due to my being an :olddude: over the age of 65!
