Hello Everyone,

I need you advises please...

My old passport was lost including some of my important documents when a big fire hit near our house last year. We had to bring our things to a safe place.

My question is, in the spouse visa application, they would also want us to submit the old passport. What would i do?

BTW, i havent used that old passport until it expired last 2006.

Im going to VFS this month to lodge my application. Your advises would really be appreciated. Thank you.

I really don't think it will make any difference to your spouse visa application.

You cannot supply something you don't have.

Most forms that request previous passport ask you to provide any you may have.

Another question please... :Erm:

What if they ask if my passport (now) is my first passport?

Exactly, tell the truth. It got destroyed in a fire. There's no problem.
I really never heard of that being any kind of issue at all
The ECO will not refuse because of that nor will they use that as any kind of supporting reason for refusal.
Just relax, focus on the requirements and be happy.
