Life in the uk test chapter what?

hi just not sure what chapter i need to read in the LIFE IN THE UK BOOK IS IT CHAPTER 2-6? IM NOT SURE

Correct :xxgrinning--00xx3: Its been said 2 and 3 are the most important to memorise.

Try doing it up to 6. Try and put aside 90 minutes 5 days a week. Give the TV a rest, you know it makes sense.

I would suggest buying (or borrowing) the CD's of 'typical' questions. There are a couple of different ones. Also there are some online tests that can be done. They all pose the sorts of questions that come up at the test and provide a choice of three answers. Like self test.

As for getting cd's etc, she would be wasting her money. Would be better sending the money to me for what good it would do:NoNo:

Just focus your energies on chapters 2 to 6 and testing yourself with the online examples which there are many to choose from.:D

My post was made based on experiences with my wife and with many others who have taken the test. It was intended to be helpful. The CD's seem to suit some people more than just reading words.
Naurally the CD's only provide questions from the needed chapters, and importantly they are stuctured in the same way as the actual test and so provide experiential learning.

Whilst :iagree: that CDs, tapes ... and what have you ... can be beneficial, these on their own are no substitute for reading up on the official Home Office publication 'LIFE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM - A Journey to Citzenship' (Second Edition, Eighth Impression) valid for tests taken from April 2007 - and available from stockists like Waterstones and W.H. Smith - along with its smaller accompaniment containing 400+ Questions & Answers for 2009. :ReadIt: The Test itself is based on Chapters 2 to 6 . :ReadIt: thoroughly ... and revise regularly for at least a month beforehand.

Those are the two handbooks used by MY wife when she sat and passed the UK 'Life Test' at her first attempt last July. But it's [I] always a good :idea: to check for any recent updates by logging onto the UKBA website. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

The CD greatly helps.

It explains the answer (referencing the actual article/text in the handbook), and it imitates the actual exam conditions.

bought the same book few weeks ago..though it is second edition: tenth impression 2010 :)
