Spousal Visa renewal

My wife has a current UK Spousal visa but here Philippine passport expires next year.
When she renews her passport is the UK Spousal Visa automatically renewed or do we have to apply all over again.
Any help from similar situation people greatly appreciated.

My wife also has a UK Spousal Visa and last year she renewed her passport to her now married surname. The visa is still ok and she just carries her new passport and old passport with visa.

I guess she just need to amend and renew her passport with the Philippine Embassy in London and the spouse visa remain valid.

Any valid visa's in 'old' passports remain valid and in force until their expiry date regardless of the validity/expiry date of the original passport.
