Hi guys,
just some clarification please.
My wife shall be applying for spouse visa soon.................we have loads of paperwork etc and list of requirements.
On the list it states that she must provide proof of current passport, which is obviously still in her maiden name.
She is concerned that her married name will violate /contradict the name on her passport and that will cause a problem.
Can someone please clarify what the case is......i read that she should just use the one she has, provide the paperwork to show marriage, and that should suffice that part of the process.
Hope question makes sense
Cheers in advance

That's alright ... it's perfectly understandable her maiden surname will still be the one on her passport. Myrna's passport, for example, was issued only a couple of months before WE married ... and is valid until September 2013; indeed it's still in her own, family name ... and she now has ILR. Time enough for your missus to change things when she applies for British Citizenship - as we'll be doing. Goodluck to you both, my friend. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
