Snow on Mount Apo

Reports are coming in from Mindanao of heavy snow covering the summit of Mount Apo ( 2954m). PAGASA (Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Service) have yet to comment.
However, a spokesman is alleged to have said :-
"As this is the first time, only a fool would go so far as to change the name to Mount April."

When I was a small boy and stayed with my very superstitious dear old Grandma, she always used to chant 'White Rabbits' on the first day of the month, she had a special saying for April 1st but I can't remember what it was now.
