I can't say I'm a lover of Chelsea though:omg:
I don't want to get into the sectarian side of football, given that many of our members won't be W.A.S.P's, but I always believed that Everton were the English equivalent of Rangers and many years ago players were chosen based on their religious belief, similarly Liverpool and Celtic had very close ties. Thankfully those days are over now and players are selected on merit rather than religion (or at least they are in England)
