Hi jean, I applied for a passport for my daughter in manila but she was born in London. I dont think it would make much difference though. If you're married there shouldn't be a problem putting your husband in your child's birth certificate.

Getting a passport is a bit tricky, I went there to apply and there's just so many things that they need. Just make sure that you have everything on the checklist. It is attached to the passport application. (pink form)

Things you need are Birth Certificates (certified copies, yours, your husband's and your child's), Declaration of Paternity from you and your husbands, Domicile questionnaire to be answered by your husband, a notarized copy of each and every page of your husbands British passport, Photos of you and your husband together, photos of you pregnant, and don't forget to get another CENOMAR. I'm not quite sure if the application fee increased but 2 months ago it was 7523.00 php

Hi Jean, I filed the application 18th of March, passport was delivered 20th of April. If you're married to him, he doesn't need to be here. You can definitely do it on your own but you need to have the documents.

Make sure that you have NSO copies of birth and NSO copy of marriage certificate, and CENOMAR. CENOMAR should be requested again from NSO and not the one you used to get your CNI. You may register the birth of the child as well through the British embassy
