Chicha-cheato!

Javier Hernandez was accused of cheating after the Manchester United striker tried to win a stoppage-time penalty in his side's 0-0 draw at Newcastle in the Barclays Premier League.

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew insisted Chicharito 'definitely dived' but United boss Sir Alex Ferguson branded the Mexican's booking 'an insult'.

Referee Lee Probert showed Hernandez a yellow card after he went down under a challenge from Danny Simpson.

The decision ensured United opened the door to title rivals Arsenal, who can reduce the gap at the top of the table to four points if they win at Spurs on Wednesday night.

Pardew said: 'I think Danny sticks a leg out which is dangerous, but he didn't touch the guy and he definitely dived, looking for it.

'I have to praise the referee because he was brave there. With Manchester United pushing at the end, with their last-minute goal history and with who their manager is, it could have been easy to give it.'
