Just had a water meter fitted that should save me £££s:xxgrinning--00xx3:

They've just replaced mine with a 'smart' one ...don't even need to visit the house now.

My quarterly averages about 40 quid all in.

Of course I rarely bath. :)

Yes mine is the 'smart one too'
I will use hosepipe on next doors outside tap to water garden:laugher:

I know mine is free they can't charge you for a standard instalation,my annual bill is about £450 normally so i should save lots.
Already paid 2 £50 direct debit payments so maybe will only end up owing another £100 in total:)

That does sound quite reasonable by UK standards.

Yes, mine was free.

Here in York the water company (Yorkshire Water) have to give us discount since they took over York Waterworks...cos the water comes straight out of the river.

I'm assuming they give it a clean first. :Erm:

i dont have a meter fitted but my water bill is £180 so i am happy

i like washing the car and watering the garden with a hosepipe so guess its a bad move 4me to have a meter fitted

I have a bath everyday, and leave all the taps running for hours.... it annoys the Southerners as my local reservoir is still full :Hellooo:
