You're driving down the road in your car on a wild, stormy night, when you pass by a bus stop and you see three people waiting for the bus:

1. An old woman :oldlady: ... who looks as if she's about to die.
2. An old friend :cwm24: ... who once saved your life.
3. The perfect partner ;) you've been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a lift to  ... knowing that you've only room for one passenger? :doh THINK before you continue reading.

This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a job application. You could pick up the old lady, because she's going to die ... and thus you feel you should save HER first. Or, you could take the old friend because HE once saved your life - and this would be the perfect chance to pay him back. However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate again. :23_111_9[1]:

YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS ..................

The candidate who was hired [out of 200 applicants] had no trouble in coming up with his answer. He simply replied: "I would give the car keys to my old friend ... to take the lady to hospital. I'd then stay behind and wait for the bus with the partner of my dreams".

Sometimes, we gain more if we're able to give up our stubborn thought limitations!!! :ReadIt:

Thanks Arthur:cwm23:

I gave the keys to my old friend,He put the old lady in and they set off to hospital
Just as they got going the old lady Croaked it and my old friend took his eyes off the road for a second,in that moment the bus came round the corner and had to swerve to avoid the car!
The bus driver braked too hard and clipped the kerb sending the bus toppling over onto the love of my life:yikes:
I went up to my old friend punched him in the nose just as the police arrived and arrested me as it was my car and charged me with manslaughter for which i got 5 years:D

I would have given the job to Graham. Couldn't employ the guy who let his friend drive his car. He let him break the law driving with no insurance. Sounds like a right criminal :icon_lol:

I'm with Graham on this one, ruthlessness is key:

1. I wouldn't pick up the old lady, she might die in my car on the way to hospital, which means I'll have to spend hours explaining to the police and her family what happened, they might even blame me for causing her death:yikes:
2. What friend who saved my life? I'd deny it, afterall I don't want someone having that kind of hold over me thinking I owed them a favor. He should be grateful to me for giving him the opportunity to save my life and giving him a sense of pride and purpose in his otherwise miserable life:D
3. Girl of my dreams....at a bus stop:Erm: Are you serious??? The girl of my dreams is 25 years old, drop dead gorgeous and drives a Ferrari convertible, which was kindly given to her by her very ill 90 year old billlionaire husband:xxgrinning--00xx3:
