No not really as Hargreaves never played and scholes is past sell by date,Gibson is ..... and is only barely Premiership standard.

I'm worried about the shortage of midfield players, I know they weren't the best but we do need players to fill in because of injury etc.

I'm worried full stop:yikes:
Unless we have a wad of cash to spend it could be a tough season:NoNo:

I think we need an attack minded player in central midfield, we don't seem to have had central midfield player score a decent amount of goals since Scholes was in his prime or for that mater Roy Keane.

I wouldn't be surprised if Rooney was on his way out:NoNo:
When Fregie got him to back down from the transfer request, it made me think of Ronaldo & how he got him to sick around for one more season.

There's still 8 weeks of the transfer window left, Fergie knows what he's up to. Have faith:xxgrinning--00xx3:
It's going to be tight next season though, Chelsea and City will be big threats, and Liverpool under Dalgleish could be an outside bet. Arsenal and Spurs are going backwards though.

Play Rooney midfield:xxgrinning--00xx3:
I agree with that:xxgrinning--00xx3: but I can't see Rooney staying if he was permanently moved to mid field & we would need a new striker with strength up front as hes the only one we've got that can go shoulder to shoulder with a decent defender.
