Good Day....

Well firstly thanks to anyone who has helped me with advice over last 2 months...

I submitted my partners Unmarried Partner Settlemen Visa application on 30 June and now the waiting game has begun.....I am checking the tracking almost every hour but the grass never grows....my watched pot never boils......

I never applied for my daughter and I didnt get her UK passport in Manila.....I took her birth Certificate and my passport into Passport office in Durham, UK and within 3 days the passport was dispatched to me in Newcastle and within a week the courier had delivered it to my partner in Cavite.....SUCCESS

So thanks all and I hope our application is promptly processed......If all goes well and it is issued in next few weeks I will return on 1st August for 2 weeks to bring my family across.....We will also be giving my daughter a christianing on 6th August so if anyone is free they are more than willing to join our celebration.....

Thanks again...

Quick question, was the Visa valid from the date you asked for on the application or was it valid from the date of issueance?

Thanks

Thanks guys......

Answers to your questions.......visa was issued from date of issuance. My date on application was 1st August but visa was valid from 15 July. we received visa at house on 15 July.

There wont be any wedding soon......Well we will see i am hoping Philippines might turn the divorce law like Malta did......both me and my partner are still married from previous relationship....

But family fly across on 13 August with KLM......I fly to Manila on Friday. My boss arranged 2 weeks of training for me in manila so I can help my family move without losing holidays so all is working out well....

I am not overly religious but after the luck we have received in the last 3 months I am starting to believe somebody must be helping me here.....

Thanks to you all for your kind wishes.....Bye for now

Hi ya!
I can remember when i was applying for spouse visa...got all that messages but they never tells you if you got it or not so it was a nerve cracking that made me feel sick, cold sweat and gave me palpitations until i held my passport with UK entry stamped on it. Happy days!

CONGRATULATIONS! I know how hard it is.
And i know how you feel.
