can the family back in the Philippines can send a package of vacuum dried fish (danggit,dried squid)here in the UK:rolleyes
any have experience this:Wave:

My wife gets her's from our local chinese or filipino shop. Is there not one near you?

Yes it's allowed.
Just depends on whether you think the cost of postage is worth it.
The package would need to be "extra-wrapped" we all know how bad it smells :cwm3:

The famous English poet and playwright William Shakespeare (1564-1616) once wrote (Romeo and Juliet I think) ...A dried fish by any other name would smell as bad!

Call this dried fish stuff whatever you want, Buwad,Tuyo,Daing or Dillis the smell is about the same, and William Shakespeare is still correct after all these years.

I wonder if a Beer marinade would make it smell and taste any better???

the more stinkyness the buwad(dried fish) is.. the BETTER:D:icon_lol: it becomes tasty but without the smeel ..:bigcry::rolleyes: no point to be called BUWAD:omg::D
