Hi,
Another question!
My mahal works as a staff nurse and she would like to visit the UK to see her sister. Her sister is self employed and her sister's husband started a new job 2 months ago and my mahal has a lot of money to support herself with no help and she will be visiting for 2 weeks.
Would the family visit visa be easy to obtain?
We're so confident for this.
Thank you so much for the great help and advice.

Provided the application is fully compliant then the ECO would have great difficulty in issuing refusal.

Two key issues to ensure are as strong as possible are :-

1. Sufficiently strong reasons for returning and not overstaying the visa validity
2. Sufficient resources to support the requested duration of the visa.

In the case of your mahal, her employment overseas should be enough.
The fact that she will be applying a family visit and has sufficient funds to support herself will also strongly influence the ECO. I guess she will be accommodated by her sister.

Hope this helps and good luck, everything looks good to me.

I don't see any problem in her obtaining a visa. :)

My mahal's sister's passport has expired and so she can't send the copy of her passport. Can she send a residence permit and her husband's passport if it's ok?

Thanks for all your help :)

Actually her brother in-law is not working and her sister is self employed but would it still be a problem?
