Hello to everyone, I am new to the site thank you to my new found friend Rose and Ann for giving me this website.
My partner and I met online last month, he will be visiting here in October and we had been talking about fiance visa as we've found to be so in to each other. I have several concerns about the requirements..who should i addressed it to?
Help please :)

Hi there pumpkinbee, welcome to the forum.
Whatever questions you have can just be posted here or you can start a new thread in the appropriate sub-sections.

Maybe it's early days yet to be considering visa's. Just enjoy you first meeting and some happy times together during his Philippine adventure. Time to relax.

Hi pumpkinbee, and welcome. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Just make sure you want to be married to him first. :icon_lol:

Also make sure (for future) that any important docs you have , like your birth certificate are on official NSO 'security paper', and that you have a passport with at least 6 months left on it when or if you travel. :)

Hi! thanks for the reply and for welcoming me:)

I know it sounds too soon for visa's but there comes a time in our lives when you know it's right cos it feels right and it feels good inside...sounds crazy I know but what can I say? at this age (i'm 45 he's 65) its still possible to fall in love haha
Will and I are just trying to gather as much information as we can to make sure that it'll be a smooth sailing once we fill out an application...

Anyway, maybe you can answer one of the many questions we both have...I was once married back in 1989 and was also separated 3wks after the wedding and since then i have not heard from him. I heard he's in Spain and had been re-married for years...Should I disclose that I was married on the application form? It's been 21yrs of no contact at all....

Yes, I have lived there for about 5 years in total, and been visiting regularly for over 20 years. :)

If you google UKBA and do a search on there, it will tell you what the current requirements for fiancee visa are.

If you have dependants under 18 who you wish to bring here in the future, then their father will need to give his permission, and if you have a previous marriage, this will have to be annulled.

ohh is that right? i hope you won't mind me asking...have you been married to a pinay before? I know it says single on your profile :icon_lol:

Annulment is my concern actually...cos I once married here in 1989 and was also separated 3wks after i got married...dont know where he's at now 21yrs later...i'm not certain if I should declare that I was married since there had been no marriage at all....

Yes, I was married to a Pinay for 15 years....now divorced.

You will both have to show that you are free to marry.

I'm not sure how this will affect your status.:Erm:

awww...sorry to hear that...hey, you can start all over again lol...

Yes, that is what my ordeal is if you know what I mean...cos I dont know where on earth he is and had no contact for the last 21yrs....

Are you looking? I have a friend hehe..
