Hello!

This is my first post in the forums, so if my question has been answerd somewhere else, and I have not seen it, I apologise.

My question is: I am a UK based citizen and my same sex partner is Filipino. We are in the process of seriously thinking about applying for a visa for his first visit to the UK. However, we are now getting to the point where we are thinking it maybe best to go with an agency that deals with visa applications. We do understand that they can never Guarantee a visa, but with all the rules and regulations in place, we are finding it very stressful and confusing over the best way to approach the whole thing.

I was wondering whether anyone has any suggestions for maybe an agency that they have used before, or the signs to look for that suggest the agency may not be reputable etc-we would just be so grateful for any advice!

I also did not know whether it would be better to go with a UK based agency or solicitor that deals with this line of work, or whether it is advisable to go with an agency within The Philippines itself?

It's simple to do it yourself it's the same visa form as everyone else on here has filled out :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Hello Keith
That was a very prompt response-and thank you for that! I think we were becoming very bogged down as when looking at the Immigration Rules it seemed like an uphill struggle-and we were very worried about inadvertently saying the wrong thing!
Thank you once again!

As long as you have all the requirements the same as the rest of us then no problem with the visa :xxgrinning--00xx3:
