Hello everyone.. I just like to ask some opinion regarding "VISIT VISA", is it really that hard to get? My boyfriend ask me to apply for a visit visa to see him since his having a hard time coming here in the Phils. at the moment.. May i ask what are some of the requirements of such visa? Or is it really advisable that i'll just wait for him to come and visit me? Because i heard that Fiance Visa is more easier.. Thank you so much. .:)

is it really that hard to get?
In a word, YES
You certainly need to show that you've met, you have enough funds to support yourself in the UK, and there's a compelling reason for you to return to the Philipinnes.
... and even then it's a lottery, with the majority being refused.
I suggest you search & read all the threads regarding Visitors visas

Hi, and welcome to the forum :Hellooo::Hellooo::Hellooo::Hellooo::Hellooo:
Have you meet your bf in person?
Because if not, even fiance visa will not work.

Hello, there ... and :welcomex: to the filipino/uk forum. If you'll excuse my use of puns in giving you 'a little' advice - I'm not going to pay "lip service" to your query ... neither is it my intention to "gloss" over it by building up false hopes. Visit Visas are, by far, the cheapest option on the one hand ... BUT ... on the other, they're the hardest to obtain - for the reasons BBJ has explained - notably, because past experience has instilled in Entry Clearance Officers an understandable suspicion that the privilege is likely to be abused.

Yes ... :sorry-2: ... it's certainly the more FEASIBLE alternative; however, like purple says, you'd still NEED to prove you've met your b/f in person before going down even *this route - such is the challenge of Long Distance relationships. But DON'T be discouraged :nono-1-1: - "where there's a will ... there's a way"! :xxgrinning--00xx3:
