:Erm: ... hot water! :Erm: ..... it's hormonal hair growth. Has she been on the oill since she's been here? Taking new meds? Hair growth also changes with age.

Maybe the higher levels of calcium carbonate and flouride in the water here have an effect on her hair:Erm: Maybe a high quality shampoo and conditioner would sort it out:Erm: It's not really my specialist subject, I'll wash my hair with fairy liquid or Swarfega if I run out of shampoo:D

I guessed its because of the water
some regions have soft and hard water http://www.eddy.uk.com/hard-water-regions.htm ,..and hard water can really dry the scalp and hair...I dont use very hot water on my hair to avoid dryness and damage...also, I would advice to try different brands of shampoo and conditioner ,she (your wife) will find one that will suit her,...I am using l'oreal and tresemme conditioner for my hair and once a month i do deep conditioning treatment.:xxgrinning--00xx3:

Am not sure if the different shampoo's that she's using in UK have made a difference? I know the Filpino/Asian shop near me sells Creamsilk from the Philippines. I once got that for a Filipina friend and she said it's better on her hair.

Yes. My wife has brought over several sachets of Cream Silk. But we dont have a pinoy shop locally. We have just bought some quality conditioner for her, from Boots. I hope that does the trick for her.
