Hello Guys,

I am here in UK for 6 weeks now. I need to know if it is still possible for me to visit Philippines next year? I am on 2 years Spouse Visa. I would love to hear your thoughts or advise.

Thanks,
Desirie

Yes, your visa is multi entry, so you can travel outside the UK while on your spouse visa to visit the Philippines. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

how long were you planning on going for ?
ideally don't leave the UK for more than 90 days in a year, and you shouldn't have a problem getting ilr or citizenship under current rules.

There is no problem going on short vacation to the Fil on a spouse visa but in 2 years time you will have to apply for your ILR and at present that is almost £1000 and sure to increase. Unless you have loads of money!!! or a rich husband!!!!! then consider saving for your ILR before you plan a return to the Fil.

jenky is spot on, We intended to stick with the ILR, till the wife got it, then reading the small print found out that if you leave the UK for more than two years you loose it, and as we intend to spend some lengthy stays in the PI we went the whole hog and got the citizenship, and then dual citizenship, but jenky is right the cost just keeps going up and up
