The big difference being the have got to the last 2 world cup finals losing one and winning one,don't think we will ever get to another world cup final in football in our lifetime Ded:NoNo:

It will be down to the next manager I think but honestly as much an England fan as I am I think we are about 12th best team in world (we are currantly rated 4th):laugher:

I agree Les - I think it's an attitude problem unlike those from other countries our top "sportsmen" lack that final few percent of dedication and commitment becoming distracted by off pitch/field activities

The players both football and rugby give the press the ammunition though - Brian Moore said on Talksh1te that the other teams kept out of the spotlight but England (M Johnson) chose to go beering it in public, dwarf throwing, bungee jumping etc

I agree though that our English teams should behave themselves and concentrate on the job in hand....especially spoilt brat overpaid soccer players.
