Anti-capitalist protesters have started a second camp in London - as a demonstration outside St Paul's Cathedral entered its seventh day.

About 30 tents have been put up in Finsbury Square in London's business district.

The move came as up to 300 protesters from Occupy London Stock Exchange (OccupyLSX) refused to leave the front of St Paul's.

The cathedral has been closed since Friday amid safety concerns.

I'd turn fire hoses on them ideally in the middle of the night

It's always amused me that round here the Pikeys never pitch up on Windsor Great Park or other parts of Crown Estate land

90% of the unwashed at St Pauls go home at night - the Police have been taking thermal images. The empty tents should be torched

These are the damning images that prove the anti-capitalist protest that has closed St Paul’s Cathedral is all but deserted at night.

Footage from a thermal imaging camera taken late at night reveals just a fraction of the makeshift camp was occupied.

An independent thermal imaging company, commissioned by the Daily Mail, captured these pictures after similar footage from a police helicopter found only one in ten tents were occupied after dark.

This unwashed mob have been there far too long and inaction by the authorities is encouraging copycat layabouts to pitch up on public open space in other cities. Time to get out the water cannon and baton rounds :xxaction-smiley-047

I think they've had long enough to make their point. In my opinion a well stewarded /organised demonsration march is what should be done in a democracy, cluttering up and despoiling public places is not.

If the Police should have allowed the EDL free access to the area the unwashed layabouts would now be gone at zero cost to the taxpayer :D

Desecration, defecation and drugs: Filthy conditions of the St Paul's protest camp revealed in eviction legal documents

The St Paul’s Cathedral protest camp has become littered with human waste and graffiti, while alcohol and drug use are rife, according to legal documents filed by the City of London.

The Corporation, which is taking legal action to evict the protesters, highlighted the filthy conditions ahead of the court battle which is due to start this week.

Parts of the dossier come from registrar of St Paul’s, Nicholas Cottam, who wrote to a corporation official outlining the disruptions faced by the cathedral, the Guardian reported.
