I bought my wife (before she travelled here in October) a Starbucks T Shirt on ebay and it was delivered to her Dasmarinas Cavite address okay. Took nearly 4 weeks to travel from Thailand to her address in Phils.

well i think sending a cash to the Philippines is cheaper...you can get a cheap but very good laptop in the Philippines via Villman of PCXpress or other computer shops with installment options too if you want. Buying from ebay if you're in UK would have additional costs for the delivery to Philippines and would have customs fees too, which are expensive since it's an electronic gadget..and additional worry would be time of delivery...

I bought my wife a netbook in Robinsons in Phils and I think it was just a little bit cheaper than here in the UK but not much. I have bought many things on ebay over the years but never a laptop. I looked once but didnt see much that appealed and decided to just buy from the shops locally in the UK.
My personal choice, weighing all up, would be to send cash so that the person at the other end could buy the laptop in Phils............

I wonder how much money that's sent over there with the intention of paying for a new roof or furniture is actually spent on Red Horse for the male relatives:rolleyes:

:icon_lol: I know what I mean, and I dare say that every penny I've ever sent to the Phil's has never been used for it's intended purpose...fortunately, my Elaine is a good girl and never asks for anything, but my ex was on the scrounge every week:rolleyes:

If it's intended for a laptop better to send cash methinks.
Unless you already have a great bargain, or you have already a laptop that's no lomnger used.
Just my opinion.

Probably close.
£200 + the cost of sending. Very close.
As other have said, think also of warranty (if there is such a thing in Pinas :Erm: )

If you have the laptop already and it's not being used, probably better to send than just leave it to grow old :olddude:
