Justin Bieber ? :omg:
I like all the traditional Xmas Carols, and I like to sing them and play them on the keyboard, even though I'm now an atheist.
They're comforting and bring back nostalgic memories of Christmases from my childhood. :)
For more 'modern' songs, Bing Crosby 'White Christmas' (which I like to think I can sing rather well), Slade of course, and the Wizzard Xmas song, Mull of Kintyre by Paul McCartney.....lots from that 70s era of Xmas partying with friends.

:sorry-2:, Mari ... I changed browsers recently, and can no longer view videos of the type you've uploaded - without access to Adobe Flash Player - which needs certain "plug-ins" for the purpose. Nevertheless, such an inconvenience doesn't lessen my interest in your thread - and I wonder if you'd mind specially listing your top 3 choices for this :olddude:.
:thankyou:

Perth City Hall ... completed circa 1911 was/is a fine example of a late Edwardian edifice. Here, enthusiasts from ALL Christian denominations [or NONE!] used to flock on the Sunday immediately preceding Christmas to give splendid voice to the old, well~known Seasonal favourites ... to the swelling accompaniment of a magnificent pipe organ.
Up until 2005 ... that was ... when it was replaced by a 21st century Concert Hall - resembling a GIANT flying saucer - and distinctly lacking in character. :doh Worse :cwm24: ... the prospect of the old Hall being pulled down - despite fervid protestations from 'Historic Scotland' about it being a 'B' listed building - led to its organ getting shipped off to Australia a few years back! :furious3:

Always sad when the swelling accompaniment of one's magnificent organ is not available for the enjoyment of all. :)

the old and new can accomodate each other, but they should never part with the historic belongings , keep them where they belong home

Yes ... :anerikke: ... regardless of fierce opposition from many conservationists, Council Officials seem hell~bent on "change for the sake of :censored: change", to be honest.

:iagree: ... as far as I'm concerned. the buggers may as well do their damndest ...:anerikke: ...now that the beautiful pipe organ's gone "down under". :bigcry:
Perth Council of Churches' Carol Service has long since lost its appeal ... a grand piano - however GRAND - is NO substitute! :nono-1-1: Nowadays, I don't even bother going.

It is often supplied free on CDs for peripherals you've loaded on to your pc. :)
Best to delete any old versions first, in case they're corrupted.
