Hiya William
Plenty of advice here mate - I am of the opinion that you will still be on the same forms as us down south :)
Have you gone through the UK Visa section? Apart from the English Tests and the gathering of evidence the process isnt too bad... I'll duck now!
Enjoy

Hello William, welcome here to the forum.
Here is the place where you will find all the help you need to secure that all important UK visa.
Hopefully you will also be willing to share your experiences and help others as you and your wife make the immigration journey from Philippines to UK.
The UKBA page specifically for Spouse's and Civil Partners is here (http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas-immigration/partners-families/citizens-settled/spouse-cp)
It's well worth taking a look and checking out the links provided.
The UKBA recommend that you read their Information Guide. (http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/documents/out-of-country/sup-docs-settlement.pdf)
They suggest it can "help you decide which documents may be useful in supporting the statements that you have made on your visa application form (VAF)."
And of course it makes a handy checklist.
For application made in the Philippines an online application is needed and you and your wife should also study the VFS Global In Philippines webpage here (http://www.vfs-uk-ph.com)
Take a look at the links and then ask any questions you may have about the details.
Happy reading and Good luck

William ... :welcomex:! Please disregard the flippant reply I posted above (#5 refers) in response to a fellow member's comments about the visa process. It ISN'T really as black as I'd portrayed it ! :nono-1-1: Indeed, all should go smoothly if you follow Terpe's links. :)
Good Luck! :xxgrinning--00xx3:
