:bigcry: I have been here in the Philippines for about 3 and a half months .. I came here to get a visit visa for my niece aged 3. Her mum (my sister) just up and left her ( i know such a wonderful person she is ). We have been denied! I then appealed and now the appeals tribunal has emailed me saying my appeal has been successful. HURRRAAAAY!! but i have to wait 12 weeks????? why is that? I will paste below the email sent to me. Are they using pigeons, to deliver mail?
My question is: Is there a way I can speed it up??
Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for your e-mail.
We can confirm that your appeal was successful and a determination outlining the reasons for this was sent to on 16/12/11. As this appeal has been allowed we are no longer dealing with issues involving the issuance of the visa.
It can take a minimum of twelve (12) weeks for the Entry Clearance Officer to receive the appeal decision at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office where the Visa application was made. If heard nothing after those twelve (12) weeks, should contact the Entry Clearance Officer at the Post where lodged the application.
Alternatively can contact the Visa Correspondence Services at:
Email: PublicVisaEnqs@fco.gov.uk
