Hi guys,
Ive been here in the Uk for 1 year now. I arrive here Dec 23 2010. My visa will expired on March 2013.
I have 2 kids from my ex ( not married) ages 9 and 7. My ex was signed to my daughter birthcertificate but he is not to my son BC. We dont have any contact to my ex since my 7 yrs old son was born.
Me and my husband are planning to get them this year, but a friend of ours told us better to wait for my ILR so i dont need to pay for their ILR anymore. I will just pay mine and their settlement visa. WHat you guys think about it? Get them now or just wait for my ILR before i apply them?
Regarding to sole responsibility I have enough proof for that ( letter from my parents stating that they will be their guardian while im away, Money transfer receipts, Teachers letter stating the progress of my kids, chat logs,)
Thank you :)

its good you think you have enough proof that you have 'sole responsibility' cessxy but it will be someone in the embassy who will actually decides that, but at least your prepared, a couple of people have been refused recently on this.

your problem might be the longer you leave your kids with your grandparents the greater the risks are that the embassy will say your grandparents have 'sole responsibility' and not you. how long will it have been since you've lived with your kids by the time you get ILR? 2yrs or more ??

it's going to cost what £1000 more, but if you have then money its always better to get them here ASAP, you dont know in a years time or so if you or husband will be in work, you dont know what immigration rules will change.

if you've got the money then do it ASAP, if you havent then they'll have to wait :cwm24:
