hello everyone.

soon i will be applying for my futher leave to remain and hopefully when granted i wish to work, but i am unsure if there are any restrictions as to hows many hours i am allowed to work....and how much i am allowed to earn..

i would be greatful if anyone here knows what the rules are....

cheers....:)

Once granted, the FLR entitles you to work in the UK.

There's no stipulation on how many hours you can work, nor is there a stipulation on how much you can earn.

.... remember, an employer will ask for your National Insurance number, so get that sorted out ASAP after the FLR is awarded.

NB: You can legally work while the NI number is being processed.

thanks tyou very much mr bluebirdjones! i really thought i cant have a national insurance number until i will get an indefinite leave to remain... so basing of what u said, I am therefore allowed to get a national insurance number after i get an flr approved? ...

Can I add something to your FLR question, only because we are seeing and hearing of extended processing times for FLR(m) and if you have any sort of schedule for work hang off until you get the visa and apply for the NI.

We have been waiting for nearly 4 weeks and have not had the request for Biometrics as yet - unless there is something wrong with the application!:NoNo:

Good luck with it...
