god i eat to quick, or could it be there is not much on my plate, were was i yes the bus and my bottom, found theloo at theback of the garage and the loo door was closed, tapping hello , a little louded hello, no answer , bloody hell i thought pushing the door a little harder it opened, just jammed it was, job done and off i trotted back to the bus, just got my foot on the bottom step and off he went.Out of manila we went onto the toll road, steve told me that the bus was very quick, the speed that is, and was he right , sure was, i enjoyed the bus nothing pass us and we had a break after 2 hours only 10 to 15 minutes but a loo stop it was, then onwards to cabanatuan all in all about 3 hours travel and we pulled into the station, wow so busy and i think i was the only european there, people coming us asking for this and hand held out asking, and what did i do, put on my shades so then i think they cant see my eyes and everything is fine then, a few minutes later i saw steves car and yippy we was saved. If you can lads and lasses try to meet so many people as you can either here in england or in the phils, its so worth it beleive me, After shaking hands and kisses we made our way for food and to introduce each other properly, poor Charie could not understad me i spoke to quick so i did try to slow down but soon was speeding up again Food eaten steve took us a tour of where he lives, up into the mountains we went the views was just so beautiful, sorry steve i dont know the names of the places but the pictures are in my mind for ever, then onwards to this river were you can swim, a truely amazing place we went too and the kindness of steve and charie to take there time and spend it with us, then we went to therehome but before we had a drive to there fields of rice, with the mountains in the distance this place was just so beautiful and to think they wake up to that each time they are there, very lucky i say,A beautiful house they share or i should say home because that is what it is, it felt just like anyones home, Vincent was fast off or was he ignoring us, anyway we had a grand time there lots of talking, drinking and the food well there was lots of it, our room for that night was fine a fan to keep us cool and a new mosi net to keep me bite free, what more can we ask, next morning up with the barking dogs and th cockrals from up the road, part 8 to follow

part 8, forgot steve brought some fireworks for us to set of that night, just like being a kid again making genies and just making so much noise too, so loud they was, thanks steve. That morning after breakfast steve and charie would have loved to spend the day with us but em had arraged to see her sisterback in manila so after saying our goodbyes to the children steve and charie droveus to the bus station, again steve we are in your dept for what you both did for us.Back atthe bus station em thought w could take a quicker bus back but hand on in there em i need the loo, so off i went and inside this loo was a whole family wife, baby and 2 other kids, but i had my shades on so they could not see me and in the cubical i went did my business but where was the scoop infact where was the water, its the other side of the room and thats the kids job to pour water over what i just did, not a chance i thought, off i went give me that scoop i said in broken english/tagalog and i little french thrown in, infact what i just did no scoop could shift that so i took the whole bucket and that shiften it, right the little kids where they with the hands held out waiting for a tip , and being like the queen, i dont carry money either, what can i give them, a packet of buscuits from my bag, said my goodbyes and out i went onto the waiting bus, just made it i thought, the trip back to manila was just as quick and soon back in the hustle and bustle, and guess what no sister waiting for us, a wasted day that was, rather stay up with steve i would have, not much more to say over the next few days just shopping haircuts and spending money, the next adventure starts on sunday the family holiday all 12 of us, thats part 9

A lovely reminder Steve, thanks for sharing with everyone. We also really enjoyed your visit, it was a pleasure to welcome you to our home.

What you omitted was the part where I drove through a red light and that policeman on his little motorbike and ill-fitting helmet followed us and pulled us over. After explaining that to him that I never even saw the light, and apologising, Charie got out the car and took him to one side and gave him 200 peso. Bless :icon_lol:

You are welcome any time Steve and Emma. :)

Great write ups Steve! Enjoyed each one :xxgrinning--00xx3:

It's good to hear you met Steve R in Philippines, like you say it's great meeting forum members.

When reading this part, with all the toilet stops I thought 'Imodium' would have come in handy. :icon_lol: :icon_lol:
