well you think you have heard it all and something else comes along, had a text from my daughter today asking me if i could lower a blind in the front room window, so i rang her tonight and jokingly asked has any small person been looking in, this is a terrace house s no front garden. She said have i spoken to my other daughters, no i said, well saturday night there was a knock on her door and when she answered it no one was there, a second knock later still no one, then a little while later a third knock and someone at the door, when opened a bloke standing there asking can he come in for sex, she managed to get the door shut and locked then on the phone 999 police saying a man has tried to get in and told them , we will send a car straight away keep calm. Nearly 2 hours later she gets a phone call saying due to the snow they cannot send a car out but someone will call the next day to take a statement, what f---- t---ts, so angry i am, i told her to call me if anything should happen, it would take me less then 5 mins to get there, f-----g police ,

If the Police catch him rather than being given the good hiding he deserves he will be invited to sit down and have tea and biscuits with some sort of counsellor from the probation office then taken home

Thats a shocking thing to happen, I hope your daughter is getting over the experience. Just shows that we need to be extra careful these days.
Don't know how true this is, its probably an urban legend.
A old fella heard a noise in his back garden one night and looking out of his kitchen window saw someone was in his shed. He called the police to report the crime as it was happening onlt to be told that there was no units avaible and someone would be round in 5 or so hours. Obviously this was no good so he gave it 5 minutes and phoned them again saying "its ok I've sorted the problem out, I've shot him". With in 10 minutes his houses was surrounded by police who managed to arrest the guy breaking into his shed. When questioned by the police they said to the oldman " you said you shot him", the old guy replied "you said you had no one available".
