Hi, everyone, does anyone know if there are any new requirements for ILR ?? I heard from 14th feb this year you need to have biometric details before you can apply???? can anyone enlighten me on this subject or anything else thats new on ILR.. Anyone just applied in the uk for it????? We live in the UK.....!!

I think the "confusion" lays in which visa your partner has.

If she arrived on a spouse visa, then she was never issued a biometrics ID card in this country... hence she hasn't one to submit.

If she arrived on a fiancee visa, and subsequently got married and applied for the FLR visa, then she would have received a biometrics card (which effectively IS the FLR).

So, wives with the FLR must return their biometrics card when they apply for the ILR.

ok kind sir, so yes she came here on a spousal visa.... ok so this really doesnt concern her then...!!!
