Rubbish clearance begins. I hope the authorities are putting them through a sheep dip
Police and bailiffs have moved in to remove tents from the Occupy London camp at St Paul's Cathedral.
The operation, which began just after midnight, was mostly peaceful but there were 20 arrests.

This Occupy rabble should have been baton rounded and hosed down when they first started their "protest" - swift action is needed not months of expensive court action. Same thing with those Dale Farm Pikeys - water cannon and the riot squad - they don't like it up 'em :D

would you insist on the same treatment, if people started protesting about visa fees, english tests, and now the minimum income to bring your spouse to the UK ? :D

No probs in my book Joe with the age old system of organised peaceful demonstrations causing the temporary closure of the odd tube station etc.
It's when the scum turn violent or denying access to public areas where there needs to be robust action from the offset - eg Diddys pitching up on your local park, a mob rampaging through the West End causing wanton damage. Swift action with gas, boots and riot sticks is required.
