Hi everyone,
especially to those who had kids before. Our toddler will be 28 mos next month but still undecided when to put him at nursery. We will be viewing one local nursery to see how it goes but I think at the age of 3 is still too young.
I often read on the internet and even on the news that kids here are under pressure to grow up quickly and that they are expected to talk clearly at the age of 2.
Anybody here please share your experience.

my kids are younger and older than yours, 7 months and 7 years, but my 7r old was nearly 5 when she came to the uk, in the philippines she had been to a nursery for 2 hours aday. when we went looking for a school for her in the uk, it was just the start of the summer hols, so most if not all were shut for the next 6 wks, but we managed to get her in a school which the gov inspectors said was good, for the first year she was struggling a bit compared to other kids, as she spoke both tag and english back in the philippines. but now she just speaks english and is just as good if not better in most subjects than her schoolmates, also she was shy and didn't socialise with the other kids much, now she is a lot more confident, the sooner the better is what i think, and as soon as my son is old enough he will be going to nursery to, i think he will be at a disadvantge if he doesn't

My daughter is turning 7 yrs old soon and she is in Primary she cope up pretty well and im so happy i thought i would have a problem with her.. but she has friends now...... in just two weeks her teacher calls her chatter box..... :icon_lol::icon_lol::icon_lol: and im thankfull that she went to nursery when were still in Phils....

The thing I notice is that my boy does'nt seem to like white people because when they try to talk to him he just ignores them, he himself is half white. He seem to prefer being with coloured people.

Hay naku boss Keith my son prefer kayumanggi colour, like you all do, who can blame him for that?
