For me, any soaps, any fabricated police/detective stories NSI this NCIS that, Wycliffe, Hetty Wainthrop etc etc..yawn!! Shameless, (my friend raves about it every week) never seen, never want to! The Royal Family, same classification as Shameless. Any football, cricket, rugby, snooker, tennis on tv (will actively avoid)
I will post more as I think of them, but that will do for starters :cwm23:

On a slightly different note, but not entirely offthread, a pleasnt surprise for me is my wifes liking for watching football. What a bonus for me. She even asks me if there is a match on to watch so that we can watch it. Reminds me of the Carlsberg advert.

At least you don't have sales ads every few minutes like they do in the Phils! Viva was with her mum when she was watching some tele series and she was counting up the ads for me, think it was around 45 (or even more) in an hour and the ads lasted around the same time as the tv series in that hour! :NoNo: :icon_lol:

We're actually quite lucky with TV in this country compared to what some other's have to put up with!

90% of everything. Certain sport, documentaries and the odd other type of programme are the only things I can stomach nowadays.

The worst shows are soap opera's, cheesy quiz shows like Deal or No Deal, I'm A Celebrity, Big Brother, and shows about talentless egotistical celebrities such as Peter Andre & Katie Price. :NEW5::NEW5:

You're definitely right here in the Phils the advertise last longer than the aired show and sometimes i enjoyed watching more the advertise than the actual show :icon_lol: coz there are so many telenovelas that the show i wanted to watch is already aired at midnight so i just watch it online.

when I was in the Philippines, I watched telenovelas/soap operas but not regularly as I was on the night shift. When I got here in the UK, I avoided watching all those kinds of shows and the reality shows about dancing/singing/big brother etc. I just don't have any interest at the moment. What I like watching now are shows like Embarrassing Bodies, Mystery Diagnosis, Real A&E or any shows relating to A&E/medical condition/accidents, Cops, and Born Survivor with Bear Grylls (I'm really amazed how he's so crazy about these survival stuffs in the wild! :xxgrinning--00xx3:)..I also like watching stand up comedy shows like Live in Apollo..Lots of good British humor! Idiot Abroad too is soooo funny! :D
