If your in Dubai, how will you come to the uk, Visitor visa or settlement visa?

If you come as a visitor you are not allowed to recieve NHS treatment.
If you come on a settlement visa there will be no problem giving birth in a NHS hospital. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

thank you rusty. in our case we are both based in dubai. but we want the child born in uk to be automatic british citizen not only by decent. also would be nice to benefit from NHS.

so the only way is to apply for spouse visa as if settling in uk?

In principle you will need to prove 'settled status', yes
