Now this really is a truly delicious and spicy king prawn dish just bursting with flavours.

lastlid, please don't tell your wife it's an anglicised Gambas

It's another 'Terpe's Kitchen' special, and it's a quick and easy recipe for all you busy people that really love tasty dishes!

It's high in protein (and not a trace of red meat) and if you want, you can pack it with with even more chilli to really boost your metabolism.

You lucky people!

Ingredients:-

25g Butter (why not try the Lurpak Garlic butter)
1 tsp Chopped Garlic
1 tsp Chopped Red Chilli (or whatever floats your boat)
200g Raw King Prawns
5 thinly sliced Spring Onions
The juice and zest of 1 lime
Watercress and crusty bread to serve (alternatively rocket leaves)

Cooking Method:-

1. In a frying pan, melt the butter and gently cook the garlic and chilli for about a minute.
2. Add the prawns and cook for about 5 minutes until the prawns have turned pink and opaque.
3. Stir in the salad onions and the lime juice & zest.
4. Continue to heat through until piping hot.
5. Serve with a few rocket leaves and crusty bread to soak up the juices.

Enjoy with a glass or two of ice cold lager!

I don't remember ever using chilli paste in recipes before. It's worth a try.
It's possible to get garlic paste at the supermarket now. I did try that once and it wasn't the success I thought it might be. Won't do that again.
